Reading - Noah Barleywater runs away

Last week we started reading Noah Barleywater runs away for our reading groups. It's about a boy who runs away. He gets hungry on the way. He grabs an apple off the tree and it starts grunting. He meets a talking dog and donkey.  Noah also goes into a toy store and meets an old man. Some things about the old man is, he was born without a mother and he can run half a mile in under 5 seconds.

My Blog stats

Today we had to go on our blogs and look at how many blog posts we do every month and year. In 2016 I had 27 blog posts. In 2017 I only had 6 blog posts. In 2018 I had 25 blog posts. In 2019 so far I have 20 blog posts. I'm going to get more blog posts by doing at least 1 or 2 a day. Maybe your class should do it.

Bike Track Project Progress

At our school, we have a bike track. Our class has been assigned some jobs to make the bike track look better. My group is making some signs. We have some real give way signs. We also have some normal signs which we're going to paint over. Here is my prototype for the signs we are going to paint over.

Baking - Hokey Pokey

Walt: Explain the Science behind Hokey Pokey We made hokey pokey for Food Technology last week. Now we have to explain what we did. This video explains it all. We had only three ingredients, Baking soda, White sugar, and Golden syrup. I enjoyed eating all the hokey pokey afterward but I had a sore tummy because it was so sugary. It was challenging stirring because it hurt your hand after. To be BTB we could add more baking soda. Hope you enjoy the video. :)
