Maths - Measuring my House

WALT: Measure the House and figure out the Area of each room


Today for Maths I had to measure the floor plan of my house. It was challenging to hold the measuring tape by myself so I had to get my mum to help me. I enjoyed figuring out the area for each room. My key was every 1 centimetre on paper equals 1 metre in the world. Also, 1 millimetre on paper equals 10 centimetres in the world.

Today for Maths we had to figure out the travel time, cost, distance, and routes, to fly to Australia from Christchurch. It was challenging finding out the Distance from Christchurch to Australia. I hope you like the slide.

My Blog stats

Today we had to go on our blogs and look at how many blog posts we do every month and year. In 2016 I had 27 blog posts. In 2017 I only had 6 blog posts. In 2018 I had 25 blog posts. In 2019 so far I have 20 blog posts. I'm going to get more blog posts by doing at least 1 or 2 a day. Maybe your class should do it.

Transformation using Grids

Last week we had to copy an image on to a 5x5 grid using polyline. I only got the chance to do a koru. It was challenging doing the curves on the koru. Have you ever tried doing To be BTB I could make my lines look better.
