Today the year 6's had to make boats out of tinfoil. The only resource we got was obviously tinfoil. We had to see how many blocks we could fit inside the boat. My group only got 10 blocks inside. The best group got 137 blocks! They won because their boat was wide and deep. Maybe your class could try it.
Hi there!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Matilda and I am a blog commenter for the Summer Learning Journey this year! I’ve noticed that you haven’t done any of the activities yet. Our finish date is the 24th of January but there is still time to give it a go and start gaining some points!
Awesome post! It sounds like you had a lot of fun making the foil boats! What was your favourite part? It's very impressive that one group got 137 blocks inside! If you did this again would you change the design of your boat? If so how?
The Summer Learning Journey has heaps of activities to choose from! Here is the link. Have a look through and find some activities you like the looks of. I’m looking forward to seeing which ones you choose! (One of the weeks activities are all about inventions and interesting gadget! I think you would enjoy these activities!)
