Camp Reflection using Music

Walt: Reflect our camp experiences using music. These past few weeks my class has been making music to represent our week at in Wellington. I used all different kinds of music to show how I was feeling during camp. Sometimes the music could be going really fast when I'm excited and it could also get boring when I get bored. Today we made these Tips and Hints because we found so much plastic in our compost so we made some tips on how to reduce the waste in our lunchboxes. My buddy was Carter I found it challenging to think of ideas for the tips. I enjoyed putting the colours on.

My Camp Reflection

I'm nearly there my feet are almost going to slip off. I jumped. I barely make. My class is at adrenalin forest for school camp on a Thursday morning. My Hearts pounding and my fingers are numb. One last zip line. I clip on all ready to go. I fly down the zip line. I feel like I could go to sleep right now. I climb down the ladder one step at a time.

Today we had to make words with egg at the start. My buddy was Jacob from Ngahere. I enjoyed making the egg-splosion. It was challenging thinking of words.

WALT: find symbols that represent our family

We chose these symbols because they represent who we are. The three faces are my Dad, my Mum, and my little sister. The ball is a rugby ball because I like rugby. The paw is my cat, Willow. The book represents that I like reading. The man is a person in my family tartan. The two flags are the British and Scottish flag is where my ancestors are from. I enjoyed drawing the pictures. It was challenging finding out about my family.

Word of the week- Assertive

W.A.L.T Broaden our vocabulary
Today we learned about the word assertive because the teacher wanted us to put more words in our writing.  I enjoyed choosing the word font. It was challenging making the people with the lines because it kept glitching.



To be BTB I could make the people bigger.

We had to take a picture of ourselves and draw around it using polyline. I enjoyed using polyline because I've never used it before but sometimes it was hard because it kept glitching and sometimes it stopped while I was drawing.
